Campbell Abbey is the lead singer of the biggest band in the universe right now.
He’s also the boy I fell in love with in high school when no one knew my name.
Now, I have a million followers, teach girls every day how to love themselves and get over that boy that wronged them.
If only I could take my own advice…and not still pine for the Wright that got away.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2022Of course I,ve give 5 stars for beautiful story. Writen as standalone like all those books in this series, but so much mix with all them too and all those caracters in it, I,m glad that I,ve read in chronology every book from start in Wright series, Cruel series and now Wright Vineyard to get all of picture together. Style of writing is perfect, clear and simple to reach the reader, and I love how each book goes further with story for all of them. Especially like the mention gay couples in each of this books, which making story so real to life like it is. And must say that I know what Lubbock look like from all the stories here. Love those series, I,m glad that I bought every book in them
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2022A mathematical formula that can determine how quickly you end up in one place. That's what Blaire and Campbell have to endure before they can come back together. A second chance at live. Is it difficult for them to place their past history in the past? Yes and no. K. A. gives us a story with many twists and turns that makes it hard for them to reunite easily. It only makes this live story mire intriguing. I live rock star romances. It's the juxtaposition of a famous person and a regular person coming together. This is one of the reasons I love this story. I want them together from the start and still at the end, too. It's a story filled with angst and a solid group of characters supporting them. There are some spicy scenes, and they are done well. You cannot go wrong with a story in the Wright world.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2022The Wright That Got Away by KA Linde is an incredible rockstar book. I had not read any of her previous books but, I will rectify that and buy at least all the Wright family series! I was enticed into the story from the first chapter until I read the last page! She included angst, elicited emotions from the reader as well as surprising twists that was revealed in the end. The heat factor between Campbell and Blaire guaranteed to burn up your Kindle. I recommend KA Linde books for anyone interested in a good read! I need more rockstar books by this author!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2022Campbell is a rock star. He’s been home awhile from touring. Blaire is an internet influencer. They dated in high school and were in love. The circumstances under which they separated were not good at all, especially what happened after he left. Their lifestyles are so different. Blaire has avoided him for a long time. Circumstances bring them in each other’s company again. There are twists in this story, which makes it interesting and keeps you on age. You don’t know what’s going to happen next. There’s lots of anticipation, courage and self-doubt minutes apart, angst, happiness, sadness and love. This book is a great addition to the Wright Vineyard series
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2023OMG!!! I LOVED THS BOOK!!!🥰. K A LINDE. You put you foot in this one. Blaine and Campbell had what it took for a real love. They were young when they first fell in love but it didn't work out😣. But thank God for second chances. You will love every word of this book. I want to start to read it a second time, but I have to go on to the next Wright person🥰🥰🥰. Happy reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2022Blaire's first and only love is back in town and it's clear to her that though she has told herself she's moved on from Campbell, her heart and body may not be in agreement with her. Therefore, she will be steering clear of the man while he's back. Easier said than done, though, and it's looking like a second chance is on the horizon for the two who have never really gotten over each other. But will Campbell's fame have people looking into their past? The past no one else knows that lies between them?
Second chances are my favorite trope, especially when done like here in Wright that Got Away, with heart, crazy chemistry, and forgiveness and healing that only comes with true love like Blaire and Campbell shared. The encompassing Wright world that the author has created is one I'm always happy to inhabit with each story that comes out, and I'm anxiously waiting for Nora and West's story, All the Wright Moves now.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2024I have loved the whole series, but Campbell and Blaire are something special. It has a good mix of love and suspense with a dash of excitement.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2023Campbell went away at 18, leaving Blaire behind. Fast forward 7 years and he's back( kind of). He hit it big in the music scene and turns out that Blair is the muse behind his greatest hit. Lots of anger and betrayal in the past, can they see their way through it? Highs and lows, and a mystery or two. Loved this book. Easy to read, tough feelings, but worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing
This story is amazing! All the Wright books have good strong storylines but this one is the best. All the twists and turns, agonies and angst. There are a few editing issues - missing words/incorrect grammar at times, including the dreaded split infinite. Remember the opening scene of the original Star Trek ...to boldly go... when it should be ... to go boldly. Here, it should be ...not to go... NOT ..to not go. Still. It didn't happen often! Good, interesting read, hope the rest are as good - can't wait to find out!

4.0 out of 5 stars Second chance romance
If you're a lover of second chance romance, Wright That Got Away is absolutely for you.
Of course with any second chance storyline, there is a valid reason that our couple didn't make it the first time round.
Campbell and Blaire's story has some deeply entrenched secrets coupled with unresolved issues, feelings and downright unpleasantness. BUT true love always finds a way....or so they say!
Despite all the hard feelings, both Campbell and Blaire remember, deep in the back of their minds, their love for each other. They remember what makes the other stressed, happy, angry and abandoned.
I was blown away that Campbell absolutely, without doubt, had Blaire's back even when she could have firmly wedged a knife in his!
This is a story that will definitely convince you that love conquers all. When all is said and done Blaire and Campbell are proof that proves the cliché.
